Indonesia is a beautiful tropical country but unfortunately due to its equatorial location it is often prone to unpredictable natural disasters. People from low sociology-economic status tend to be those worst affected by damage of these disasters considering the poorly built conditions in which they live and the lack of funds to support themselves after they have lost everything.
Soekarseno Foundation has helped the Bogor outer region and Jakarta during such natural disasters as, floods and landslides known to both regions. The foundation raises awareness of the issues and brings donations of necessities such as, food, medicine and second hand clothes
